Travel Vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.  This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.

Information about countries and vaccinations required can be found on the links below:

It is important to make the initial appointment with a nurse or hand in completed travel assessments as early as possible, at least 6 weeks before you travel.

The nurse will complete an assessment based on the information you have provided and discuss the results with you. You can choose to use a travel clinic or have your vaccinations at the surgery.

If you use the surgery your vaccinations will be ordered and there may be a charge depending on the type of vaccinations you require. Our nurses advise that you will need to have completed your vaccinations at least two weeks before you travel so giving us as much notice as possible is very important.
